Promises Made Promises Kept?

The 2006 election saw two Bay County Commissioners re-elected and a brand new legislator chosen to represent District 6 in Tallahassee.

During the campaign, each made promises of things they hoped to accomplish if elected. Now one year later, News13 is on your side, holding these elected leaders accountable for their actions, or inactions.

Rep. Jimmy Patronis campaigned on getting more money for our teachers, keeping the state airport funds frugal and working to alleviate the illegal immigration problem.

County Commissioners George Gainer and Jerry Girvin said they would work toward lower taxes, updating infrastructure and watching over our drinking water in Deerpoint Lake.
