Week 83 Weigh In:

No weigh in this week!

I had an amazing birthday week! My family came in from out of town.  My friends gathered to celebrate.  I had a cake with a big 104 on it to mark my achievement. It was all wonderful.

I also completely abandoned my sensible eating and gym-going.

I went to fancy restaurants.  I ate and drank a lot.  I had desserts all to myself.  There was a lot of cheese.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, but it was interesting to note that I also developed a bit of an upset stomach after just two days and I'm currently breaking out in a way I haven't in a long time.

I can't believe I used to eat like that all the time.  And I don't want to eat like that anymore!

My body has gotten used to my healthier habits and it craves going to the gym.

I know I gained weight this week.  Even though a friend took away my scale so I couldn't drive myself crazy with it, I snuck in a few weigh-ins before it was gone and the news was not good.  But that was to be expected.

I gave myself a week to indulge -- and my week to get back on track starts now.  Honestly, I'm not sure I'll be able to get back to that 104 pounds down mark by next Wednesday, but I'm going to try.  And if I don't quite make it, getting there will be my first post-birthday goal.

The easiest way for me to really get back on track is to go back to the basics, so, like I did 18 months ago, I'm heading off to Subway for lunch!
