Introductory course, no skill level requirements
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Students will learn the history of ballroom dancing, the relationships
between dance styles among cultures and learn basic
steps and techniques to some of the most popular ballroom
dance rhythms.
Basic tennis shoes with a non-marking sole are required, no
hard sole shoes will be permitted on the gym floor.

AT TIME OF REGISTRATION
CAMP REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is strongly recommended in the GCCC Office of
Admissions. Same day registration will be done in the gym or at the
field 1/2 hour before camp starts on the first day.
SWIM REGISTRATION
(Class Size is Limited) - Pre-registration is required at the GCCC
Office of Admissions prior to swim class start date.
REFUND POLICY
Per college policy for non-credit classes: Request made before the
first day of the activity is 100% refunded. NO REFUND will be given
on any request received on or after the first day of the camp or swim
class.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
The college does not provide accident or medical insurance for
students. If a student is not covered under a personal or family
policy, the college recommends that such a policy be purchased from
the agent of choice.
Safety is our utmost concern. Please notify the instructor of any
medical condition or if he/she is taking any prescription medication
which may affect their personal safety.
