Bay United Hosts Huge Tournament At Frank Brown Park

While it looks like every where but the Panhandle had pretty decent weather Saturday, but the rain didn't stop 98 youth soccer teams, as Bay County's Bay United Soccer Club kicked off their Annual Endless Summer Soccer Tournament Saturday morning at Frank Brown Park.

This year's tourney nearly doubled the teams from last year, and teams from Georgia, Louisiana, and as far away as Arlington, Texas making the trek to Panama City Beach to play.

The tournament boasted both boys and girls teams from U10 to U19, with five teams from the Panhandle participating.

Bay United sported 23 teams for their own tournament. Pool play wrapped up today, while single elimination play to decide a Champion kicks off and finishes Sunday.
