The attorney for a Bay County woman charged in the death of her daughter is now facing criminal charges of his own.
Robert Boyette, the attorney for Courtney Coughlin's, is facing a DUI charge, after being stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol.
A trooper pulled Boyette's vehicle over on US Highway 98 near Beck Avenue at 11:35 Thursday night, and the attorney refused to submit to a field sobriety test.
Boyette was later booked into the Bay County Jail.
Coughlin is facing second degree murder charges, after a police chase in Lynn Haven resulted in the death of her daughter Kaylee Rice last July.
