Crash Kills Two in Gulf County

A single vehicle accident in Gulf County leaves two people dead.

At about 12:00 a.m. Tuesday morning the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 98 at Heron Bay Lane.

According to the report, the driver Canda Borden, 23, of Port St. Joe failed to negotiate a curve while traveling west on Highway 30a. Troopers say she traveled off the roadway sending the 2005 Suzuki Forenza into a tree. The vehicle then over turned.

Both Borden and her passenger, Adam Kennedy, 23, were killed in the accident.
