Bay County residents are looking for work, and Friday nearly sixty employers showed up to the Haney Technical Center for the 25th Annual Bay County Job Fair.
"Most people just don't know quite where to go. They're a little nervous on it. And here its more relaxed. You can actually sit down and talk to them, and it helps out a lot with people are nervous like myself. But it helps out," says Jennifer Foster, job seeker at Friday's fair.
Everything from the hospitality industry,to fast food restaurants, to News 13 were represented.
Employers, like Ed Egart with the Easter Shipbuilding Group say they're looking to hire.
"Well they should be prepared with their resume if they have one. Tell us about the experience they have in ship building or in construction, and then well take it from there," says Egart.
Job seekers say the best advice is to persevere.
"You just have to keep going. Get out there everyday. Keep looking. Eventually that job will come along and it will help out a lot," says Foster.
Veterans had the opportunity to show up an hour early to this event.
