“Trivia King” Crowned at St. Andrews Mardi Gras Festival

Posted: Updated:

Thousands showed up Saturday for the 15th annual St. Andrews Mardi Gras parade and festival.

Large floats took over Beck Avenue, but the crowd was concerned with one thing...beads...lots and lots of beads!

Some even went rouge during their flight through the air, lodging themselves on the Beck Avenue street sign.

Meanwhile, down at the festival, News 13 was on a mission to find the Mardi Gras trivia master...the one person who could answer anything and everything about the day.

Some came, and some saw, but only one conquered

And that person was David Southall of Lynn Haven, who correctly answered questions such as,

"What are the three colors of Mardi Gras?"

"What are the organizations called who put Mardi Gras parades and events together?"

"What is traditionally thrown from parade floats?"

…And many more. Congrats Mr. Southall. You are "Trivia King" for a day!
