Southwest Plane Headed to Panama City Beach Forced to Turn Around

A Southwest flight headed to Panama City Beach from Orlando was forced to turn around Monday night.

According to WFTV-TV in Orlando, flight 517 was on its way to the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport when passengers smelled an odor in the cabin.

The pilot chose to return to Orlando International Airport.

The plane was inspected, but nothing was found and the plane was taken out of service.

Another plane picked up the passengers and flew them to Panama City Beach.

Around 133 passengers were onboard that flight.
