WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News LeaderLyndall Senior Center Sweets Bake Off
The Tourist Development Council along with the Lyndell Senior Center came together to celebrate Valentine's Day in a sweet way.
Hundreds of snowbirds came to the center to take part in the first ever Sweets Bake Off.
The event was held to celebrate Valentines and winter resident's day.
Over 30 delicious desserts were out for everyone to taste, and guests bought tickets and then voted for the best treat.
Organizers hope to raise nearly one thousands dollars from today's event, and all money raised will go back into the Lyndell center.
