The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport website got a complete make over, and the Airport Authority unveiled the new changes on Tuesday.
The sleeker and user-friendly website aims to make traveling easier for flyers. Updates to the site include an updated design, Social media integration and streamlined information for travelers in their new real-time flight tracker. Website visitors will have the chance to obtain real time updates on arrivals and departures on an interactive route map.
"What we've done is really modernize the website and taken it from simple and effective to really effective. The website has new links and flight tracking; so what you see downstairs in the terminal is the same info you find on the website." Parker W. McClellan Jr, Deputy Executive Director says.
The airport will soon be launching a mobile site that is fully compatible with handheld devices with up to date information on the go.
