Staff Sergeant Christian Johnson has spent the last sixth months deployed in Afghanistan serving our country. She arrived to a warm welcome from friends and coworkers, but there was one person that was not there to welcome her, her husband. He is currently deployed.
One of Johnson's friends that was there at Thursday's event talks about what the homecoming means to her. "It's a big deal to me my husband is active duty to have some one here when they come home it means a lot it going to mean allot to her because her families is back in Texas her husband is not here so the next best thing is having her friends."
Johnson will be into town for the next six months, and then will be deployed again.
