Three national text book companies held a presentation today that determined what students will be reading in the next 5 years.

Every school district in Florida has to choose new text books for each subject.  This year its social studies books in Bay County that will be replaced.  The presentation focused on web based books opposed to traditional ones.  Web books allow for more interaction with students by using video, audio, and animated maps.  Social Studies teachers from all different levels were invited to review the new books.  In Bay County, teachers vote on which text book they would like to use.
