PCPD Honors Employees and Officers

Several of Panama City's finest received a special honor Thursday.

Awards were handed out in various law enforcement categories, including volunteer of the year, which went to Steve Brumm.

Julia Dancs received the employee of the year award.

Geoffrey Woody was honored as the officer of the year.

One by one, they made their way to receive their awards and shake Chief John Van Etten's hand.

Winners say they are proud of their hard work and their dedication to the department did not go unnoticed.

 Kerry Hammond, Linwood Hernandez, Eric Beaty, and Charlene Stephens also received awards at Thursday's event.
