Jackson County, Fla. -

On Friday morning February 10th, an elderly female victim with an infant child was shopping inside the Marianna Wal-Mart Store.

The elderly victim was approached by a middle aged female customer, who assisted her in buying merchandise for the infant child.

As the two shopped, the middle aged female introduced the elderly victim to a second female in the store. During a conversation, they shared with the victim that the second female found a large sum of cash in the parking lot.

The elderly victim was convinced by the two females that they would share the cash equally among the three. To ensure that each party showed good faith in the distribution of the cash, each would agree to provide up front good faith money.

One of the females rode with the elderly victim to her bank, where she withdrew funds from her account. The second female followed in a separate vehicle. They all returned to the shopping center parking lot to divide the cash. The elderly victim gave the two females her share of the good faith money. The two suspects kept all the money and drove away.

The vehicle driven by one of the suspects appears to be a late model gold color Chevrolet Impala. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to call the Sheriff's Office at 482-9648 or Crimestoppers at 526-5000.
