Graceville Man Arrested on Drug Charges

Posted: Updated:

On Thursday, February 16, 2012 the Jackson County Drug Task Force was contacted regarding a possible Methamphetamine lab that had been located on Ivory Path in Graceville, Florida. The lab was located after Deputies went to the residence in an effort to serve an arrest warrant on Jamison Lance Fowler for Violation of State Probation.

The investigation reveled that on the morning of February 16, 2012 Fowler had been gathering and preparing items necessary for him to manufacture Methamphetamine. Fowler had obtained everything that he needed and was just beginning the process of combining ingredients when the Deputies arrived. Fowler was attempting to manufacture Methamphetamine using the One Pot method often referred to as "Shake and Bake".

Due to the dangers associated with Methamphetamine labs and the high risk for fire and explosion when dealing with these labs Jackson County Fire Rescue was summoned to the scene to stand by in the event their services were needed.

After processing the lab and collecting evidence Fowler was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for Violation of State Probation and additionally charged with Attempted Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. Fowler was transported to and housed in the Jackson County Jail on his charges.
