Bay High Football Player Charged with Strong-Armed Robbery

The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Alton Ashwon Mills, 17 years of age. Mills is being charged with one count of Strong Arm Robbery.

On February 17, 2012 at approximately 11:30 A.M. Mills reportedly attacked the victim while on a break from school. The robbery occurred near 13th Street and Magnolia Avenue. Mills reportedly choked the victim and took her to the ground where he held her around her neck and searched her pockets. Mills removed $85.00 in U.S. currency from the victim's pocket and fled the area on foot. The victim was not seriously injured. Mills was arrested at approximately 12:45 P.M.
