"Fat Tuesday" is just ahead and that will put an end to this year's Mardi Gras celebration. So they're partying one last this weekend in Panama City beach.

In a sea of ponchos and umbrellas, folks weren't afraid to brave the elements for a good time.

They say "let the good times roll during" Mardi Gras, and most rolled with the weather.

Despite some gusty conditions and gray skies, thousands showed for Mardi Gras at the beach.

This celebration is the largest of the three in our area, which began in Panama City and St.. Andrews before going out with a bang on the beach.

Per the usual, today's parade was complete with tons of beads.

People from young to old lined the streets for floats and fun.

Mardi Gras at the beach is the organization responsible for the event at Pier Park. They say they value the glamour, spectacle and pageantry that surrounds the Mardi Gras season and each year they strive to keep that spirit alive and well in Bay County.

This year drew a variety of folks, each determined not to let anything rain on their parade.
