Gulf Coast Women Seal Up Trip To State; Men Fall Short

With the win, the women seal up a berth to the state tournament, and head coach Roonie Scovel saying after the game that it's good to be able to return to state after not making it last year.

"I think it's a great accomplishment to have a bad year and come back and be able to qualify for the state tournament. We told them, we've been talking about it all year that you can't win it if you don't get there, so now we're there and we just gotta figure out a way to compete and win it."
