Edgewater Gymnastics kicked off day two of their annual Edgewater Classic Saturday. The Classic is the first of two meets Edgewater throws every year. This year's meet boasting over 400 athletes from 10 different states, even as far away as Oregon.
Meet director Pam Kitchen saying bringing in people from all over the country to compete only helps the local economy.
"This is a great meet. It brings a great economic impact on PCB," she says. "We have kids coming from all over, families coming from many states. It's a great time because this is kind of our down season right before Spring Break and it brings in really great families."
This year's meet wraps up tomorrow.
