Graceville Woman Held on Drug Charges

Posted: Updated:

On February 15th a Graceville Woman, Christina Opal Miles, 41, was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine after Chipley Police Officer J. Webb conducted a traffic stop of her vehicle with an expired tag.  After conducting the traffic stop Officer Webb, conducted a search of the vehicle, where Officers found an amount of methamphetamine located in the possession of the driver Christina Miles.

Miles was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance w/o a prescription.

Chief Kevin Crews stated, "We will continue to aggressively attack the use, possession and distribution of illegal narcotics within our community.  The "meth" epidemic has and continues to affect everyone; this drug grabs a hold of users and brings them down to their lowest points which encourage other crimes to be committed.  The support and continued cooperation of the community with the Police Department aides in the apprehension of those who chose to use these illegal drugs.  I encourage everyone to continue to report information on suspicious activity."
