Corey Dobridnia joined WMBB News 13 in March 2012 as a General Assignment Reporter from the News 13 This Morning production team. Born in New England and raised in Jupiter, Florida, Corey holds a Master's Degree from Florida State University's Panama City campus in Corporate and Public Communication. Her undergraduate degree derives from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach where she earned cum laude honors and lettered in Varsity Volleyball. Corey was a First Team All-Conference player her senior season and had a successful career as a student athlete.

Corey is a passionate and driven reporter whose perseverance has granted her a promotion internally at the station. She strives to make the news better and more viewer friendly, and is determined to promote a good reputation for her station and other journalists like herself. She encourages those who want to pursue a career in broadcasting to never give up and work hard everyday to achieve their dreams!

Corey's extracurricular activities include coaching volleyball, playing beach volleyball, reading, and running, rock climbing, hiking, and traveling. She is very close to her family and idolizes her 93 year old grandfather, Leon F. Dobridnia, who spent much of his life a part of the Army's Special Forces. Leon retired a Command Sergeant Major and was married to her late grandmother, Rita, for 65 years. He built their home in Bristol, Rhode Island, where he continues to live since marriage.
