Red Cross Assisting Vernon Family After Mother's Day Fire

Red Cross Disaster Action team members responded tonight to assist a Vernon family of 4 who returned home from a Mother's Day trip to a home destroyed by fire.  The fire occurred late Sunday night and fire fighters battled the blaze into early Monday.  The home was located at 2896 Pine Crest Street in Vernon.  The Red Cross is assisting the family with temporary shelter, food, and clothing.
