
Vernon, FL – Red Cross Disaster Action Team members responded early today to assist a family of three whose home was destroyed by fire.
The mobile home located at 2916 Park Place Circle in Vernon was destroyed. One man was severely burned and was transported to Doctors Memorial Hospital in Vernon and then flown to a hospital burn unit in Georgia.
The Red Cross is assisting the family with temporary lodging, clothing and food. Red Cross officials in Georgia have been notified and will also be assisting.
