Work on a project to replace a bridge on County Road 2297 will require the closure of one lane of traffic for approximately 10 to 15 days, beginning June 4.
Contractor Southern Earth Sciences (SES) will begin geotechnical investigations for the project Monday, June 4. SES will close the southbound lane to begin drilling each day after Eastern Shipbuilding Group has begun their shift.
The contractor will install proper maintenance of traffic and will be operating the causeway as a one-lane facility while work is under way.
