A man is in the Bay County Jail tonight charged with the murder of his wife.
Authorities responded to a home in Lynn Haven this morning, after a woman's body was found inside a shed. Gary Wesley Tennyson is no stranger to law enforcement. He had previous arrests for resisting arrest and burglary and grand theft. But today, when police found the dead body of his wife in a storage shed, he was taken in for an open count of murder.
Tennyson has been charged in the death of his wife, 28-year-old Glenda Lynn Tennyson. According to police reports, Mrs. Tennyson's body was found in a rear storage shed on the property wrapped in a blanket. Officials says she suffered a severe injury at the base of her head and at least two possible stab wounds in the back.
Neighbors who knew the couple say the Tennyson's had two small children.
The cause of death is being ruled as a homicide. Gary Tennyson is charged with an open count of murder and will make his first appearance in Bay County court Thursday morning.
