90 Rosenwald High School seniors walked across the stage and onto their future paths, but the ceremony celebrated another group, the class of 2025.
Students from the Early Education Center at Rosenwald received certificates of completion. Principal Anita Dillard calls them her little babies.
As her last year as principal Dillard wanted to make sure they were part of the ceremony. Dillard was honored for her service to the school district at graduation and says she's grateful for the experiences she's shared with her students.
"We told them that they could graduate and that they could do it, even though they may have had some failures, but they hung in here and they did it. I would just like to tell them to smile, be good to themselves and to always say thank you."
14 students from the graduating class were also recognized. They followed Dillard from A.D. Harris to Rosenwald and all earned their diplomas in four years.
