Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport Connects PCB to St. Louis

In celebration of Southwest Airlines' new daily, non-stop service from Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, passengers on the inaugural flights will be welcomed with fanfare June 3, 2012.

The first flight arriving from St. Louis (Southwest 114) will land at 3:45 p.m. and passengers will be welcomed to Northwest Florida with a gift bag filled with fun items and information about the region and its beautiful beaches. The first flight departing from Panama City Beach (Southwest 144) will take off at 4:25 p.m. and those travelers will be sent off with St. Louis information and other items to ensure a great trip.

"We are excited to celebrate expanded service with Southwest Airlines to a brand new destination," says John Wheat, airport executive director. "These flights represent the beginning of fun travel opportunities for residents of our region and the St. Louis area as well."

Southwest will offer one non-stop flight to and from St. Louis seven days a week from June 3 to August 11 on a Boeing 737 aircraft as part of the new seasonal route. Scheduled flight time is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Passengers flying Southwest enjoy low airfares and industry-leading customer service. Passengers can also earn rewards through Southwest's Rapid Rewards program, in which members earn points that do not expire and can be redeemed for free flights with no blackout dates.
