Last month, Arnold Athletic Director Julie Hale stepped down from her position, and now the Marlins have a new leader at the helm of Arnold athletics. Volleyball coach Karissa Wesley will take over Athletic Director duties at Arnold.
News 13 talked to Arnold Principal Keith Bland today, who confirmed the hire. He also said that he only looked in house for the new A.D., and said he's excited for Wesley and her new position. He added Wesley will continue to coach the volleyball squad while performing her athletics director duties.
Wesley has coached the LAdy Marlin volleyball team for six years, and led them to an 18-10 season last year, as well as a Regional Semi-Final appearance. Bland said Wesley officially took over A.D. duties today, and is working as the new A.D. from here on out.
