The iconic white buildings of Alys Beach will soon sport some color, but don't worry! They're not getting a new paint job.
This weekend marks the 5th annual "Digital Graffiti" Festival, and those buildings will be life size canvases for digital works of art.
Those walls will be displaying the latest advances in technology-based works of art. Paired with the architecture of the buildings, you've got something entirely unique.
Event organizers having been working tirelessly for several months making sure this event goes off without a hitch. They have put countless hours into this project.
Of course, once darkness falls, they say all that hard work will be worth it to hear the "oooos" and "ahhhhhs" of the attendees.
The artists will be meeting and greeting festival attendees, answering questions about their respective designs.
Each artist is competing for a 10 thousand dollar prize.
A New York DJ will be bringing you live music and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The event is sold out for Friday night, but tickets are still available for Saturday night. They are $50 for adults and $10 for kids.
The festival begins each evening at 8:30pm.
