With Thursday's stormy weather came power outages, and disrupted many Panama City businesses.
According to Gulf Power, the outage affected about 1,700 people.
Crews were out inspecting affected areas on Jenks Avenue and the Bay County Government Center on 11th Street. Those inside the center say they were without electricity for around an hour. Fortunately, power was restored at 3:11 p.m.
Gulf Power has confirmed that lightning was to blame for the outage.
