Bay Arts Alliance announces the lineup for 2012 Backstage Pass

Amy's Book Club, The Arthritis and Infusion Center, Life Dance Studio, The Funky Little Blues Hairshack and Bay Arts Alliance, along with our media partners, the Panama City News Herald and Clear Channel are proud to announce the expansion and opening of Backstage Pass 2012.

Just three years ago the series began and ran for 6 weeks. It was met with such positive response that we have now added another two weeks to the series.

In Backstage Pass the audience will appear on stage along with the band.  For 8 weeks. local Rock, Blues, Jazz and Americana musicians will perform at the Marina Civic Center Friday nights from July 13 through August 31.  Guests enter through the backstage door and pay just $5 for admission.  Series passes are also available for $35 in advance. 

The music starts at 6:30PM and guests may arrive early for a backstage tour of the civic center. 

No need to bring the lawn chairs, fans or the bug spray.  There will also be a cash bar and concessions.

This series line-up is as follows:             July 13             Jam Therapy - Rock

July 20             Dread Clampitt - Newgrass

July 27             Tidewater - Bluegrass

August 3           Turtlefoot - Americana

August 10         Red Hot Mamas - Blues

August 17         Sharon Carroll – Jazz (torch)

August 23         Hulon Crayton – Jazz (smooth)

August 31         Go Big or Go Home – Pop/Dance

Single tickets may be purchased at the box office, by phone 763-4696), on our website(marinaciviccenter.com) or at the door. Series tickets may be purchased by calling or visiting the box office.
