
The Panama City Police Department continues the investigation of a traffic crash involving a pedestrian at W. Highway 98 and Mound Avenue that occurred on June 8, 2012 at approximately 4:40 p.m. The pedestrian has been identified as Frederick A. Reavy, 63 years of age, a local Panama City resident.
Reavy remains hospitalized in critical condition with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the red 2001 Chrysler car has been identified as Kelley M. Taylor, 28 years of age, a local Panama City resident. Taylor was treated and released for minor injuries at a local hospital following the crash. All lanes of W. Hwy. 98 were reopened to all traffic as of 7:15 p.m., June 8, 2012. Preliminary investigation results show that the vehicle driven by Taylor was east bound in the inside lane when Reavy crossed south to north, into the path of the vehicle and was struck.
