PCPD Searching for Graffiti Suspects

Posted: Updated:

The Panama City Police Department is currently investigating several incidents of painted graffiti on buildings in the downtown area of Panama City over the past few days. Several reports were taken on June 11 and June 12, 2012 of the damage caused to different buildings between 6th Street and Beach Drive, near Harrison Avenue.

The damage consisted of spray painted words containing racial slurs, vulgar statements and initials. The graffiti in all locations is similar and is believed to be by the same person or persons. Individual property owners are making arrangements to have the graffiti removed or painted over.

The Panama City Police Department is asking for the community's help in solving these cases of vandalism by reporting any suspicious activity including loitering in the downtown area to the police. If you have any information in reference to these incidents please contact the Panama City Police Department at 850-872-3112 or you can report your tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 850-785-TIPS.
