Workcamp Escapee Captured in Destin - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader
A man who walked away from a workcamp in Panama City has been captured.
Twenty-seven-year-old Allen Abel escaped from the work camp on State Highway 390 on June 3rd. According to the Panama City Police Department, Abel was captured this morning in Destin, where he had been living in a tent.
According to Lieutenant Robert Luther of the PCPD, Abel is being transported to the jail in Crestview for processing.
