The city of Parker has fired its bookkeeper.
Fran Littleton was fired Thursday, June 7th and according to city leaders the termination was brought on by her failure to perform duties assigned by the city. According to city documents Littleton has worked for Parker since February 2003.
At the time she was fired Littleton was making more than twenty dollars an hour. In an email to the several city employees Council member George Nepereny asked that a special meeting be called to discuss Littleton's termination and filling the vacant position.
That meeting is set for Tuesday at 4o'clock at Parker City Hall.
