The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Shawn G. Clark, 23 years of age and Steven H. Graves, 42 years of age. Clark and Graves were arrested on June 16, 2012, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Clark was charged with Burglary and Graves was charged with Principal to Burglary.
Panama City Police officers responded to a parking lot in the 1100 block of Bayview Avenue on June 16, 2012 at approximately 10:00 p.m. in reference to suspicious persons looking into parked vehicles. Officers who responded were flagged down by a victim who stated that her vehicle's window was broken and property was missing from her vehicle. A witness to the burglary was located by officers who gave a description of both Clark and Graves.
Officers located both men in Cox Apartments nearby. While speaking to Clark and Graves inside the apartment both men share, officers located the victim's stolen property. The property included a red handbag and a GPS unit with the victim's information programmed into it. The property was returned to the victim. Both were arrested and booked into the Bay County Jail for the charges. Graves was also booked on a fugitive warrant out of Okaloosa County for theft charges.
