William BrewerOn Sunday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received notification from staff at Jackson Hospital that an individual had arrived at the emergency room seeking treatment from stab wounds.
Deputies responded and were able to determine that the incident occurred at a residence on Park Avenue Alford in Alford, FL and identified the suspect at Roberto Salinas Jr.
Deputies responded to the residence on Park Avenue and located Salinas Jr. hiding inside the residence. Subsequent investigation led deputies to determine that the victim and Salinas Jr. had engaged in an altercation at the residence and that during the altercation, Salinas Jr. produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen, causing life threatening injuries.
William Brewer, the homeowner, aided and abetted Salinas Jr. by attempting to refuse deputies access to the crime scene and by concealing Salinas Jr. inside the residence. Salinas Jr. was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Brewer was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Salinas Jr. and Brewer were transported to the Jackson County Jail.
