Bowlers took to the lanes Saturday for a good cause. "Big Brothers Big Sisters" held their annual "Bowl for Kids Sake" all over the country. Here in Bay County, the organization took over Rocket Lanes. Three dozen teams representing local businesses showed up for the event. "Bowl for Kids Sake" is one of two fundraiser's that The Big Brothers and Big Sisters conduct each year.
Incoming Chair Allison Smith says it takes nearly one-thousand dollars to mentor one child for an entire year. The goal for Saturday's bowl was twenty thousand dollars.
