The City Clerk for Parker is facing felony charges.
Thirty-eight-year-old Adonna Mullen was arrested at Parker City Hall today.
According to the arrest warrant, Mullen reported her air conditioner stolen and filed an $8,000 insurance claim. But police say Mullen sold the unit to her parents.
Police reports say during her arrest, she locked herself in her car and attempted to flee.
Mullen faces charges of filing false police reports, perjury and resisting an officer without violence.
Parker Mayor Tonya Barrow says Mullen remains employed at this time, but city council members are trying to schedule a special meeting for Friday to address her employment status.
