Paving operations continue on 12 miles of Interstate 10 in Holmes and Walton counties. Crews are resurfacing, constructing guardrail and wildlife fence from the Walton County line to the Choctawhatchee River Bridge in Holmes County and from east of the County Road 183 Overpass to the Holmes County line in Walton County. Motorists can expect lane restrictions during paving operations. The $13.7 million resurfacing project began January 2012 and, weather permitting, will be complete fall of this year.
Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling through the construction area, and to use caution, especially at night when driving in work zones.
