A local U-16 softball team will be in Montgomery, AL at the end of July competing for an ASA National Championship.
The BT Gold 16-U fast pitch softball team won a tournament in Jacksonville to qualify for the national tournament.
The BT Gold roster includes Andrea Mckenzie (Mosley), Destiny Perrin (Mosley), Jessica Smith (Wewa hs), Becca Hall (Bozeman) Sarah Roberson (Arnold), Katie Lopes (Mosley) Kinsley Faulkenberry (Bozeman), Kayla Johnson (Liberty County hs), Graysen Gladden (Mosley) and Curstin Taylor (Rutherford).
There will be roughly 400 teams competing for the national title.
