
A man has drowned on Panama City Beach. The water incident happened just before 4 o'clock this afternoon near the County Pier on Front Beach road. The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Christopher Bonner from Louisiana. He was pulled from the Gulf by the Panama City Beach Police Department's Beach and Surf unit with the help of employees of a watercraft rental company. EMS responders were performing CPR on Bonner when the ambulance left the pier. Bonner was transported to Bay Medical Center but died about an hour after being pulled from the water.
