Pedestrian Struck by Car on Panama City Roadway - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

A woman is in serious condition at a Panama City hospital Saturday night after being struck a car while trying to cross a busy roadway. Panama City Police say the unidentified woman attempted to cross US Highway 98 in Saint Andrews just after 7:30pm.  She was hit by an eastbound vehicle with Louisiana plates. The incident happened near the intersection of 98 and Lake Avenue. Police are still investigating the incident which caused a road closure and traffic detour.
