Four Charged in Marianna Trailer Park Burglaries

On July 1st, 2012 at approximately 2:46 a.m., officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the Pearl St. trailer Park located at 4366 Pearl St. in reference to a Burglary in progress.

Once officer's arrived they were able to make contact with the above listed suspects. Upon further investigation officers were able to locate several items including circuit breakers, electrical outlets, copper wire, wooden doors and a hot water heater that the four suspects had taken from several trailers in the lot.

Also located near one of the trailers was a brown book bag which contained numerous Burglary tools to include, pry bars, pliers, hammers, and saws. All four subjects were arrested for Burglary, Grand Theft, and Possession of Burglary Tools. In addition to those charges Amanda Kelley was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Prescription pills without a prescription.

All four subjects were transported to the Marianna Police Department for processing and later taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.

Arrested: Lee Jerome Cornog, Amanda Jo Kelly, Tonya Ouida Klinger, Karen Sue Braxton.

Charges: Burglary, Grand Theft, Possession of Burglary Tools
