Mexico Beach Police Chief Under Investigation

The Mexico Beach Police Chief and two other officers are on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.

The move comes after the Mexico Beach City Council voted for an internal investigation of the Police Department Tuesday night. The purpose of the inquiry is not being released.

Chief Brad Hall was due to return Wednesday after being on medical leave since April 10, 2012.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has an open investigation into the Mexico Beach Police Department.
