Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle Wreck - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader
A Virginia man is in critical condition after an Okaloosa County motorcycle wreck.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Road 30, near Gulf National Sea Shore Drive, at around 6:30 Sunday night.
F.H.P. says Ruben Hobson of Yorktown, Virginia was driving the motorbike, with a passenger on back, heading west on SR-30. Authorities say, for reasons that are still unclear, Hobson lost control of the bike and it "high-sided," flipping sideways and ejecting both Hobson and the passenger.
Hobson was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The passenger escaped without injury.
