Sinusitis is going around this week.

Dr. Timothy Nichols from Emerald Coast Urgent Care says symptoms include: 

  • Fever
  • Nasal congestion and drainage
  • Facial pain or pressure
  • Headache
  • Cough
  • Pain in the upper teeth
  • Reduced sense of smell or taste

To treat Sinusitis, a doctor may prescribe:

  • Antibiotics
  • Decongestants
  • Antihistamines
  • Medicines to treat the fever and pain
  • Nasal spray medications
  • Steroid medications
