Over the past four weeks the Alford Community has experienced several residential burglaries. Items taken during theses burglaries consist mainly of jewelry and electronics. Recently some of the stolen property was located and positively identified by one of the victims.
As a result, Alain Adan was developed as a person of interest in these burglaries. On 07/18/12, Investigators made contact with Adan and conducted an interview. During the interview Adan admitted to participating in some of the burglaries. Several more items of jewelry and electronics have been recovered as a result.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office has arrested Alain Adan on charges of burglary, grand theft and dealing in stolen property. The investigations are still ongoing and further charges are anticipated.
