On 25 July 2012 Gulf County Investigators and Bay Co So personnel conducted aerial surveillance of areas suspected of growing marijuana.
An area located northwest of West Drive in Dalkeith yielded nine marijuana plants approximately four to five foot tall.
Two plants were located behind a residence on Hoover Drive north of Wewahitchka. This discovery lead to six additional grows areas in wooded areas north and south of Hoover Drive. Each of these areas yielded between two to nine plants each.
A total of thirty eight plants were located and removed. Several suspects have been developed and the investigation continues.
